BARBER'S CLUB MEN'S MINISTRY

Keeping Men Trim For God!

Desiring to help men fulfill their calling and purpose to God, family, church and society, Barber's Club Men's Ministry meets on a regular basis for events such as men's breakfasts, Bible studies, and social outings.

Our purpose is to provide opportunities for inspiration and personal development in areas of particular interest to men, as well as a chance to get together with the guys and have some fun.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY

Our women’s group meets 3-4 times throughout the year. Our purpose is to foster a sense of fellowship and belonging among the women of our church and in our community, and to provide biblically-based programs that inspire and encourage a relationship with the Lord.

We also look outside of the church to see where we can help others. In addition to supporting the development of new churches in the Western Ontario District of The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada through the WM Penny Fund, we are also involved in supporting local Christian community programs.

We always welcome guests and newcomers!

YOUNG ADULTS

A group of people, just like you, who are creating a place where we figure out together what it means to follow Jesus.

SMALL GROUP MINISTRY

Find Your Place in a Small Group!

What is a Small Group?
A group of 8-12 people who meet regularly, striving to build a fully functioning biblical community. Groups are committed to nurture and care, spiritual growth, evangelism, Bible study and service.

Who is Involved?
Everyone at Heartland, A Church Connected is encouraged to participate in a Small Group to connect and grow with others.

Where Do the Groups Meet?
Generally in homes, but really anywhere the group decides. Groups decide together what they will study and how they will minister over a given time period.

When Do They Meet?
Groups are encouraged to meet weekly, except in the summer when they may meet less often.

Isn't Sunday Worship Enough?
You can be a part of real church life by participation in a fully functioning biblical community characterized by:
- Nurturing Relationships
- Caring friendships
- Accountability
- Discovery, Development and Use of Spiritual gifts
- Bible Study
- Worship
- Prayer
- Support
- Spiritual Growth
- Outreach
- Service Opportunities
- Leadership Development

How Can I Join a Group?
Heartland, A Church Connected will not assign you to a group. Rather we simply attempt to arrange functions and events where connections can be established. Special introductory times are provided through the year but our groups are usually open to receiving new members at any time.

Check our weekly bulletin for times and locations, and/or for the addition of new groups. Take the initiative to contact the leaders of the groups and make arrangements to visit. Our small group leaders are always available on Sundays and at other times to talk to you about our small group ministry.

SERVICE AT EXTENDICARE

We conduct a church service at Extendicare, 855 John Watt Blvd., Mississauga at 2:00 p.m. on the third Sunday of every month.

Volunteers are welcome! If you would like to be involved in this important ministry, please contact the church office at 905-568-4696 or by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
