Depression wraps itself so tightly around you that you can’t believe it will ever leave, but it can and it does!

This course will outline a Christ-centered road map to recovery. It contains a powerful, life-changing message that will help you overcome depression with God's strength at your side.

Depression is a complex yet common physical, emotional and spiritual struggle. It is so prevalent that is has been called the common cold of mental illness. Many people will have at least one serious bout of depression in their lifetime, and every person will experience some symptoms of depression due to poor physical health, negative circumstances or a weak spiritual condition.

It is critically important to realize that the emotional state of depression is not the cause, it is the symptom. Treating the symptom only brings temporary relief at best. Any treatment for depression must focus on the cause, not the effect. The goal is to cure the disease, not the resulting pain. Depression is treatable. You do not have to live like this, at least not for long.

We offer a nine-week interactive program that will look at:

    Diagnosing Depression
Understanding Brain Chemistry and Finding Relief
    Mind Games
    The Basis for Hope
    Overcoming Hopelessness and Helplessness
    Dealing with Loss
    Surviving the Crisis
    Commitment to Overcoming Depression

All courses are offered weekly from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m.

Courses are open to everyone! Registration is free, however, participants will be required to cover the cost of the workbook.
